Queendom

Queendom

She went out into the forest

To walk among the tree armies

Dance through ballrooms lined with pines

Wearing a crown of fallen leaves

She traveled to the icy plains

And fashioned robes out of untouched snow

The howling wind an orchestra

With tunes to which aurora swirled

She found herself in many a desert

Skirting the great waves of sand

She discovered art in the trembling heat

And the hidden gems of fertile lands

She journeyed to grassy fields

That waved and bowed as she passed

The wildflowers completed her crown

Symbol of an empire never to be ruled

She ventured out into the world

And returned a queen
