A DREAM
A DREAM
Dream swam through the oceans
Beyond horizon, away from vision.
Then flew across the sky
To meet the moon one day.
It had to reach the moon
To make it come true
I was scared to the bone
And thought, “whether
it could reach the moon
Or might be blown away
by the typhoon
On its way.”
The path seemed quite easy
As I was too crazy.
But on its way met with fairies
Immersed in their beauty
My dream started whirling
And forgot about the goal.
Being upset I sent my soul
To chase it down
And teach a lesson.
My soul flew
At blistering speed
In no time it caught my dream.
But, Alas!
The fairies were looking at this
My soul stumbled and was transfixed.
The fairies stole my soul’s heart.
What was going on I could not understand.
Being glum, I slept again
Early morning as I woke up
My dream was gone
And my heart was stolen.
Who was the thief
I thought to myself,
“Were it the fairies
Or the cutest girl in my class?”
With whom could I
Would be thrashed
By my parents,
Teased by my friends.
Cannot dare to share
With the girl
Thinking these I kept quiet
And every night I
kept dreaming about the girl.
“Was it love or attraction,
Was it crush or infatuation,
Was it adoration or obsession?”
Till now I am clueless
About this emotion.
