Different
Different
The world with different faces
Asks me-
"Where do I belong?"
I have two eyes, a nose
And a mouth, a face
Just like yours, but different;
I speak, I think, I eat
Different.
A land soaked with
Blood and sweat of my people,
Do not ask why different?
The raven black that flies away,
That nestle their eggs;
Never asks for identification.
This land of human migration,
This country of Aryan, Mongolian,
Dravidian,
Never asks the birds why
Different?
To this I must say-
The loss is mine,
Not raven's.
The world collapses in prejudice;
For what did I gain,
Being human?
