Politicians are plenty

Promising empty

Patronising twenty

Thrilling the country

Making it empty

Contesting for election

Trying for selection

Praying for ministerial promotion

Calm post elections and even at revolution

Always leading to corruption

Many are demagogues

Who attract by speeches

Power and insolence makes them riches

They are just like leeches

Sucking the vote of citizens

Thus they come to power

Climb the tower

Make the opposition minor

Taking the comrades as major

Punishing the opposition rather

They say with poise

And with a great noise

That they are servants of our choice

But never listen to our voice
