Happy Ending

There were times we were strangers,

There were times we were classmates,

There was the time we were bus mates,

There was a time, where transitioned happened.

There was a time, glances made.

There was a time, words got uttered.

There was a time, where shying prevailed.

There was a time, where bonding formed.

There was a time, friendship comprised.

There was a time, cohesiveness appeared.

There was a time, possessiveness emerged.

There was a time, arguments got lost.

There was a time, 

we believed made for each other.

There was a time, we discussed future plans.

There was a time, we saw it as friendship.

There was a time, we declared beyond it.

There was a time, where love alone bonded.

There was a time, where time existed for each other.

But the time opened the gateway to rumors and was strong enough to break fragile bonds.

was it just a crush that wore the mask?

or was it an opportunity to break?

The orphan child love lives with me, as we were not meant to be passengers of the same vehicle.

A second chance was not given, though I deserve it as it was not meant to exist, once the decision was made long before.

The words and memories which I wanted to remind you, gets buried within me, as it is worthless.
