Surprise Showers

Surprise Showers

1 min

Murmured the thunder,

Lightning gave a glimpse;

With shower of the rain drops,

The Earth got a rinse.

I walked along,

With tinkling music to ears;

Though got me drenched,

It left a smile to cheer.

There were silent prayers,

With hope from the farmers;

And they were listened to,

By the God of showers.

Smiles are blessed,

With a content to mind;

The greenery blushed up,

Having its way to find.

The Earth as if has got,

Some new vigor to wear;

And cast the spell further,

To all and everywhere.
