Tongues drawn fight ensued

battle of words between Poets

to win the much-coveted Prize

promoting 'Peace' through words

enlightening jagged-edged minds

Thinking caps glued on heads

interesting words exchanged

hung in the hate polluted air

enraged at recent developments 

No one raised their voices, asserted

Red, white blood cells, plasma platelets 

make up human blood composition, 

Blood banks don't bear labels to

identify donors Black, White, Brown, 

Yellow, to match the needs of patients

when blood transfusion is needed

Then why this acrimony, bitterness

over skin colour, caste religion?'
