I AM A DREAMER
I AM A DREAMER
I know you feel like screaming,
That I am just dreaming,
Of a world,
That has overcome hate,
And other petty emotions.
Of mankind,
That has understood,
Love, friendship; not treason,
Are the most overwhelming,
And the only solution!
We must get rid of this hate,
Only then will our suffering abate.
We can’t survive in this sorry state,
In this, we shouldn’t be late.
I know, it is hard,
To conquer hatred, jealousy, and treason,
With love and forgiveness.
To rise above these frivolous -
Emotions;
And to see reason.
Love’s sunshine is,
All-powerful,
Warm, bright
And wonderful!
It will, over time
Pierce the dark clouds,
And the mist and the fog,
Left behind- the after effects,
Of hate; all around.
It is then, that in love,
We will all surround,
And in joy, we will,
All abound.
I am a dreamer,
It’s true!
But who told you,
That dreams,
Do not come true?
