When We Met
When We Met
It was good to meet you,
Though we were strangers;
But this small meeting of ours,
Seemed like we knew each other since ages;
You carried generosity in gesture,
And the kindness flowed in your words;
I was carried away,
In the flow of those words;
Your eyes spoke your heart,
Wearing a smile on your face;
You kept on talking,
And I got lost in that grace;
The blue colour which you put on,
Suited you very well;
I was just thinking of you,
And suddenly there rung the bell;
Opening the door I found you,
Standing at the door;
Remembering that day,
I mesmerise more and more;
