Vivaan's Aarvi

Today was just another day for him. He opened his eyes in his room among his servants as every day. He could hear his parents screaming on top of their voices for god knows what while the servants in his room were trying to distract him from all the obvious voices of his parents. Vivaan lived in a big mansion with his parents & a few dozens of servants. The super energetic & talkative baby grew up into a very calm, composed, polite & silent 10 years old. He was so silent that a few servants would be surprised to hear his voice also. The day anyone heard him speak; he would share the news with the rest as if flaunting an autograph from some famous celeb. The majority of the servant staff was very old & so hearing him speak was a precious moment for all. He was their favorite in every way.

Whilst Vivaan's parents were busy managing rather spoiling their married lives for the sake of their only son; their only son even on the eve of his 18th birthday too was busy conversing with his inert silence. Over the years he had somehow managed to silence his inner chaos as well. There was enough noise on the outside for him so he had decided long back to lower down his unwanted inner noise. He was in his own self most of the day. Each day of these 18 years; since the time he started understanding stuff, has been the same for him. He is not bored with it either.

It was around his higher education years that a certain someone caught his attention. She was his junior. A very chirpy kinda girl. She immediately caught his attention. Due to his nature, he never made any friends who were irritating him now. To his surprise She herself spoke to him first asking for some help with his notes because he was the most studious of all plus was teacher recommended. He was pleased to talk to her. She mentioned that her name was Aarvi. It suited her personality totally he thought to himself. Aarvi also liked every big or small conversation with Vivaan. She got to know from the rest of her seniors that he has never spoken to anyone from the time they have known him & this irked her a lot. In no time both of them started sharing their life stories with each other. While Vivaan had a lot of chaos to talk about she had no such experiences. He was surprised to know her story.

Aarvi was an orphan born do not know where but brought up in an orphanage nearby. She was very good in her studies so she knew at a very young age that education is going to be the ladder for her to escape the "happy looking, nice" orphanage. At a very young age, she was molested by one of the staff members & when she complained about the same to the authorities they said that there was nothing much they could do because that person has been appointed by the founders of the orphanage & that he was among the oldest members. As she grew up these episodes became a regular scene with her & many other girls & boys as well. Due to this many children ran away or were planning to do so. The main Mam of her orphanage also quit her job because she was getting sick of being helpless. The monster, however, had no boundaries. Before leaving the job their mam had apologized to all & told them that the only way out is to be independent & educated. She was never the weak one & hence was beaten up brutally having scars all over herself more than the rest. Her bravery however always rang bells in the minds of the rest & one day they all decided to put an end to this story. The man was already too old now & had multiple health issues so the only way to get rid of him was by putting an end to him. One night all of the planned & started displaying creepy scenarios in front of him in such a way that he started feeling that he was hallucinating. They hyped all this to such an extent that one night they earned their freedom. All of them were finally feeling safe in their house now. When the founders came in to check they found it to be a sudden death hence, no one at fault. However, the orphanage made strict rules that no one will be appointed in his place at all. The founders luckily agreed to this as well & left.

Aarvi was much stronger than she looked & this inspired Vivaan too. Once again he woke up all the silent demons within himself to win over each of them gradually. He understood there none of his troubles were as horrendous as Aarvi's. He felt protective for her but in a brotherly way. Aarvi was the sister he never had. Aarvi, on the other hand, was very happy to know that the world around is not such a bad place at the end. She can find relations outside her orphanage as well. She was very happy to find a brother in Vivaan. She regularly visited his house & was welcomed by all including his parents. They knew that she is the reason why Vivaan is choosing to revisit his old self. Gradually Vivaan was becoming the real Vivaan like he was when he was a baby. Everyone blessed Aarvi for this every moment. In a few months, Vivaan's parents legally adopted Aarvi as their heir.

Days passed to months & months to years their bond just got more & more strong. Vivaan finished his education & choose to be a stand-up comedian who was by then an expert for his satire jokes. He was handsome so had a lot of following. He was a totally new person now full of life & louder than ever. There was a time when a murmur from him was celebrated in the house whereas today everyone welcomes the silence in the house when both the brother-sister is not around. Vivaan surprisingly was very outspoken & confident when it came to talking to people or conversing with crowds. Aarvi, on the other hand, grew to be a very graceful, elegant & beautiful lady. She was like a firecracker if lit you are sure to be roasted alive. Her aim was to be a successful speaker & doing good to all around her especially those living their life like she lived being a helpless orphan.

Aarvi was the firecracker that lit the rocket named Vivaan who was always dreaming of going higher & higher in air. Vivaan understood the meaning of life & what it means to live it as well. His Aarvi was the angel of his peace who showed up surprisingly & changed everything back to perfect.
