Trust And Betrayal

The girl looked at him with fury all over her eyes. He laughed aloud as he did not care about what the girl thought. Silence followed them as he led her down with the gun pointed at the back of her head. 

The guy whom she had trusted all her life till then was her adopted father. It was all to loot the treasure that was buried inside that old building that made her feel disheartened. She learned the lesson of her life never to trust anyone blindly. 

“Put your thoughts if any to waste and follow me”, he said pushing the gun onto her back. The lights went out and he did not know what had happened. He felt her grimy hands on him. An eerie glow fell on his face. He heard a pop sound nearby and fumes engulfed him.

When he woke up he found himself in the police station. The greatest lesson in life on trust and betrayal was learned by her near death.
