Time

It was raining heavily, feels like the beginning of an attack the clock shows 11 in the morning. 

When the automatic bell rang for the indication of break time for the students.

 There was total silence in the premise of the DVC primary school. No students to seen in the premise.

Inside the school building a gunshot sound fills the place. The area outside the school is surrounded by hundreds of people standing in rain, cops, media, parents crying, people protesting. 

The whole crowd standing outside panics when hearing another gunshot inside the school.

Media telecasting the news as

"50 CHILDREN HELD HOSTAGE AT DVC PRIMARY SCHOOL",

 "DEMANDS OF THE TERRORIST ARE UNKNOWN TILL NOW"

"FOUR GUNSHOTS MADE PARENTS PANIC,LOSING HOPE"

"10 BOMB DIFFUSERS SHOT DEAD BY TERRORISTS WHEN DISMANTLING

BOMB SURROUNDING THE SCHOOL WHICH WAS THEIR ONLY WAY TO ENTER"

"PRAYERS HELD ALL OVER FOR THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN"

There are tents placed outside the school. 

In one of them where people with computers and small satellites are trying to intercept or contact the terrorists to know their demands.

The telephone phones inside the school keeps ringing but there was no answer. The school bell rang again.

In one of the tent Sushilaan IAS officer panics when seeing the video sent from her son's phone.

Her assistant Keerthi comes in and calls her for the meeting. She gets up wiping her tears and before joining them she gives her assistant and note.

The operation was headed by IG, Christopher with support from the quick response team, special operation group and anti terrorism squad of the Tamilnadu police.

Christopher says if they could dismantle the bombs outside the perimeter, the special operation group would save them.

Another officer comes forward and says, they have lost all the bomb squad and also bomb squad from other states has been requested. Due to the heavy rain it is being delayed

Sushila says, all their bomb diffusers have been shot. Keerthi hands over a file to her and says something.

Sushila looks at the officers, places a file on the table and says there is one person who they could help them but he retired and has his medical condition.

 Christopher picks up the files and asks her can they depend on him. She says, they have no other choice.

She walks out with her phone. Christopher commands his officers to bring him here now.

When Sushila came in looking pale, she looks at everyone and says she received a video from her son who is also a hostage at school. 

She picks up the phone with her hand shaking; she plays the video to everyone in the meeting room.

Her son Akil is sitting in a chair with two persons at weapons standing near him. Akil starts to read from the paper in his hand saying “They are the survived villagers from Kunali in Kanyakumari district.

Their villagers including children, unborn babies, old people and others died by release of poisonous gas, industrial waste by a TORA company. No action had been taken on them.

Tongues of the survivors had been cut by the officials of government to keep the truth out. 

They want the company to pay the price for what they did or the government will pay the consequences" Each terrorists shows themselves in the screen to show their tongue has been cut off.

Christopher asks every person in the room that this video should not be leaked to public at any cost until the children's are secure.

As he reads the files he came to know that, Chandru was leading the bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) in Tirunelveli. 

When was in the action in the field, the bomb blasted killing 28 people in bus stand and got him bedridden for 6 months and caused him color blindness.

Christopher puts the file down and calls his officer telling him to get a doctor at once.

Sushila takes her phone and walks out. She calls her ex-husband and cries. He asks her to stay strong. She cries again saying, she doesn’t know if she would be able to save their son.

When Chandru arrives he looked unclean with his uneven long hair and grey beard.

He walks away out of the tent into the rain after the brief. He sits on the muddy ground looking at the school in far away. He accepts when seeing

the cry of the parents standing in front of the gate. He feels it may be a second chance to save them.

He has to dispose the bomb it without anyone noticing. So he shouldn't wear the bomb disposal kit. He agrees to it.as they were speaking with him doctor arrives.

The doctor hands him a phone, opens an app and explains its working, that it will have screen with a marker at the center and a color scale at the bottom.

When we take the phone camera towards an object by placing the marker on the object which will display the color in the scale with a text above it.

He showed it with an example of file on the table. Sushila hands them over the files containing details of the company, the village, the dead villagers and the remaining survivors.

One of his fellow officers came and said, the terrorists got the weapons in black from Chinnamuttom harbor.

Now another bell rings for lunch time in school, also with a message in Sushila's phone telling that before another bell rings action has to take on their demands or for each 5 minute a child will die.

She also receives a picture of four white cloth covered bodies on the floor. Everyone gets panicked with Sushila crying.

He takes the phone with his tool kit. They also tells him after he enters he is on his own, they can be able to contact him because of the jammer. 

He walks towards the hole in the school wall. Before he enters the officers diverts the terrorists to the other end of the area.

He walks in through the bushes. He finds out a bomb at first sight. He goes near it seeing lots of wire. 

He notices that all the bombs in the campus are interlinked to each other and to the core. so he has to disconnects everything individually and then from the core bomb.

He studies the bomb at first. He picks his the phone takes it near the wires. When it pops out colors he cuts the wire with the cutter.

He runs fast to each bomb and dismantles it using the phone. As he cuts the wire he could hear the gunshots on the other side.

When he found out the last core bomb placed near a pit. He walks into the pit which is now filled with water. The phone drops into the pit. 

Display gets off. He gets panicked. He sits down starting to hold his grasp. 

He breathes out and closes his eyes seeing the vision of his last failed mission of people crying, death everywhere.

He opens his eyes takes his cutter out. When was about to cut, he was shot and fell back.

When the officers shot back holding the terrorists. Chandru gets up bleeding. He looks at the wire all looks the same to him. He cries out in pain.

He knows he has to depend on his gut. He takes the cutter towards the wire studying all the connections. He cuts the wire.

Everything turns black.

When Chandru wakes up in hospital, Christopher sits near him and says all the children are safe.

Chandru asks about the four white bodies on photo. Christopher says it was fake and from the statement of children they came to know that the children were treated safely with care with foods, chocolates and everything.

Chandru asks about the terrorists?

Christopher says, they all are dead and their demands are taken to public and government are taking action on the company.
