The school of dead

Though its been 2 months since I joined this school- "The sunshine English High school" I am still in the feel -of dream came true that I was waiting from 5 years, since I was given a room in hostel it was even easy to reach school daily... but I still feel this school holds alot of mysteries in it,still there is some strange feelings. I feel there is some one who is watching me and following me.

One day in the afternoon while I was taking online classes I suddenly heard students screaming - It was surprising ..!! Because due to covid we were supposed to take online classes and the schools were all shut. I followed the noise but I couldn't reach.

While having lunch with my colleagues I asked one of them where did that noise come from?

She replied it was my illusion as there were no children in the school. I ignored the matter feeling it was my illusion too. But the same things started happening daily - I could hear children screaming, after few days I even started hearing bang on doors- as I opened there was none, my classes were getting disturbed.. that day when I was in washroom I saw a kid walking here and there- when I tried stopping him he suddenly disappeared. This scared me, I ran straight to office room and explained things that was happening.

For my surprise, my principal pointed something behind me..!! It was me- it was my body.. "I was dead". She grinned and screamed "this is school of dead", We all got burnt when our building suddenly caught fire a year back....we couldn't even escape; within a moment we all had left our body..she cried in pain...including you..!! You were killed in this accident too but your soul refused to accept the fact,you continued daily with your class, you never realised you are just a soul, morning time you are that same teacher but at night you too still cry in pain like that wandering and unsatisfied soul...

Suddenly, the school environment turned into a very silent graveyard...
