The Fab Five - #1 The Picnic Catastrophe!

"Hey! Did you guys get the pamphlet that announces about our school picnic?" Nikki asked the other girls. 

Okay, Okay, I'm sure you're wondering about who's Nikki, right? Well, she's the member of The Fab Five group, which includes five girls, who are just like sisters! The members are Nikki, Tina, Chloe, Zee and Flora. Now, let's see what happens next. "Yes!!They're taking us to this fancy resort called 'MockView'. It's like a 2 week trip!! I mean, we've never went to a picnic where we are going to stay for 2 weeks or something !! Mostly, we go to that picnic at 8 am , and we return home by 6pm. I am excited!!" Chloe said, excitedly. "They have printed some pictures too. The pool looks just nice to relax!" Zee added in.

"Hey, Flora, do you remember ? On the previous picnic, when we were walking towards the lunch hall, you saw a Chips packet lying on the grass, and you picked it up secretly ?! And I still remember the flavor of the Chips : Tangy Tomato!" Tina remembered, laughing. 

"Hehehe! Yes! But, I hope you didn't tell my mom about it. Otherwise, you know it's going to be a big issue!!" Flora replied. 

Tina replied back, "No. Don't worry."

"Okay, now we have one important Task to do :ask our parents, and then fill the willingness form , and submit it to the teacher. Oh, and yes, the picnic charges are Rs. 550 " Nikki informed. 

The others nodded. 

The next day, the girls decided to meet in the garden. "Good news : My parents said yes!!" Flora said, happily. "Mine too!!" Zee added. Then, the rest of the girls also said that they were allowed to go to the picnic. Everyone was very happy. So, the next day, when they went to school, they carefully handed all the money and willingness forms to the teacher. The picnic was next week, on 2nd June.

"I am so excited!! What are you guys going to get for the picnic?" Zee asked. "Well, if you ask me, I'll get chips, chocolates, water, juice etc etc. Hey, shall I get my playing cards ?" Flora added. "Yes, please get it." Zee and Nikki said together.

Soon, it was 2nd June and all the students of the school were gleaming with joy. They quickly sat in the bus. The Fab Five group, decided to sit together. Nikki, Tina and Zee sat on one seat, Flora and Chloe sat on another. The teacher announced, "Okay, everyone, please sit quietly, we are moving!!" Everyone shouted with joy.

The bus was moving and moving. Some students admired the scenery, some were playing games and some were singing. The Fab Five group, decided to play atlas.

" A-T-L-A-S, ATLAS! Flora, tell a country/place or city with S." Chloe said. "Ummm....Singapore." Flora guessed. They continued to play. Soon, 2 hours passed by, and they reached the picnic spot. All the children quickly started running out of the bus. "Children! Please walk safely." the teacher warned.

"Um....It's a bit windy here, don't you think?" Chloe asked. "Yes, but maybe the weather is always windy out here!" Zee replied.

There was a big sign hung on the front door : WELCOME!!!

"Okay, children, please enter through the gate, and straight away go to your rooms, wash your hands and eat something. Take some rest for few minutes and then we will meet at the play area to play some games. Am I clear?" The teacher told. Everyone shouted, "Yes ma'am!!!"

After that, everyone scurried to their rooms. Each room had 2 beds. Nikki and Chloe were sharing the same room and Zee, Flora and Tina were sharing another. The beds were big enough to fit 2 people. The rooms were very beautiful, especially, just because of the lovely scenery outside the window. "It's a bit gloomy here, don't you think Chloe?" Nikki asked. "Yup!! It is....but I think our tiredness is making us feel it. Just chill!" Nikki replied, calmly.

After some time, all the students came out of their rooms, and started searching the play area. Zee spotted the teacher, so she asked, "Ma'am, where is the play area?" "Just go straight, and take a left." The teacher instructed. Zee thanked her teacher and then she instructed all the students. "Hey....why is there a tunnel here? Where's the play area?!" Flora asked, perplexed. "Zee, I hope heard the teacher's instructions correctly." Nikki said. Zee said, "Yes, I heard it correctly! Oh... I think, we should cross the tunnel. Maybe the play area is ahead of it?" Everyone agreed, so they started walking. The tunnel was really dark and gloomy. As soon as they stepped foot in it, some skeleton jumped out and said, "Hey there!!"

Next, Zee felt as if some one was pulling her hair, so she said, "I think someone is pulling my hair." But no one heard her, because everyone got so scared!

Tina and Flora got splashed with a bucket full of slimy slime. Nikki saw a dead body lying on the ground and Chloe thought that some one was watching her. And, the remaining students experienced different horrors!! A boy shouted, "Quick, let's run out of here!!!" Everyone ran. Then, when they'd finally crossed the tunnel, a man wearing a coat, came and said, "Hello, Kids!! How did you like our horror park? Have you eaten lunch?" "What do you mean?! It was really horrifying! And, my dress got ruined because of the slime! Your resort is not at all good!!!" Tina complained. "Uh... but, wait!

This is not a resort! It's a horror park! Don't you kids know? A big sign is also hung on the welcome door: SPOOKY HORROR PARK." The man said. "What?! But, we came here for a school picnic! Is this not MockView resort?!" Nikki asked. He shook his head. The kids were so irritated, they just ran and told their teacher. The teacher was shocked to know, so she asked the bus driver, because he was the one who drove the bus till here. But, the driver said, "Oh... I think I messed up with the directions. I think I should have taken a right... or maybe a left? Sorry! Please tell the children to sit in the bus, this time, I'll take you to the right place."

"Seriously? What type of picnic is this supposed to be?!" Tina complained.

So, after that, the students sat in the bus, and eagerly waited to reach the resort. After 3 hours, they reached. "Wait. I don't trust the driver anymore! I am going to see whether the place is correct or not." Chloe said. "Oh, come on, Chloe!!" Tina, laughed.

They quickly went inside, and then they took rest for a few while. Then, they scurried towards the play area. There were so many games! Everyone enjoyed a lot!!
