The Bad Chapters of Life

Aakash was invited to a seminar to do the motivational talk. He loved conducting these kinds of sessions. But this session was really special for him because he was invited to deliver a talk to an orphanage.

His charges for delivering such sessions were generally high, but for orphanage kids, he never charged for such sessions. In fact, he always ensured despite his hectic schedule he conducted one session in a month.

And this orphanage was special for him, since once upon a time, he was part of this orphanage. It was this orphanage that gave him the support, shelter, love, care an orphan could ask for.

Being himself an orphan he very well understood the pain of being part of this world. He was really lucky, that he got adopted by such a supported family, that not only gave him love, shelter, care but nurtured his dreams too.

He still doesn't know his biological parents, but life gifted him with amazing adopted parents, who transformed his life. Now when he looks back he still can't believe the success he has achieved.

And the entire credit went to his adopted family, the kind of confidence they had imbibed in him, gave him the courage to not only see dreams but also to fulfil them.

And today instead of choosing the motivational topic, he decided to talk about his own story.

Sometimes we don't need superheroes to encourage and motivate us to do our best, there is a lot of inspirational stories around us, all we need to do is to keep our eyes open.

Today he started the session by asking questions to the children Imagine you picked a book by your favourite author, excited to invest your weekend, to read another great piece and enjoy it.

Your plans are all set!!

And then to your shock, you find out there are few bad/ boring chapters in the book.

Now, what would you do?

Would you keep the book aside without completing it, assuming the writer has not done a great job this time?

Or

Would you try to explore and read through these bad chapters to figure out what a fantastic job your favourite writer has done? The book surpassed your expectations.

Isn't it true that the moment we face any challenge, hurdles in our way, we decide to change our way ( goals, dreams, jobs etc)?

What we don't realise is that sometimes these challenges act as a catalyst, in achieving success.

So instead of getting stuck, just keep walking and continue doing your best.

I recall a famous quote here "Life Is Like A Book. Some chapters are sad, some are happy and some are exciting, but if you never turn the page, you will never know what the next chapter has in store for you.

Remember:

Badchapters can still create great stories.

Wrongpaths can still lead to the right places.

Failed dreams can still create successful people.

I know you must be thinking it's so easy for me to talk about this, but trust me, friends, once upon a time I am too part of this orphanage. But I did not let this stop me from achieving my dream.

Kids, don't give up on your dreams, because that's what define you.

Let Life know, no matter what it throws at you, you'll not give up. You are tougher than the challenges.

Don't let some bad chapters in your life stop you from being what you deserve to be.
