Before Ankita and Rishabh left for home, Ankita said, "Nitya today was a life turning moment of my life, blessed to know someone like you. It looks as if destiny brought us together for a purpose. Let's fulfil that purpose.

Nitya smiled and said, The feeling is mutual Ankita. Yes, let's do it together.

Rishabh looked at both of them, smiled and said, "Seeing you both I recall a famous quote here " She needed a Hero. So that's what she became"

So guys tomorrow let's go and close this Raghu's chapter first and then let's introduce Vaibhav to reality.

Let justice be served.

Neither Raghu nor Vibhav had any clue about the storms that were headed their way.

It was just another day for Raghu, as he was in his restaurant going through the restaurant finances.

He noticed a couple entered the restaurant, they seemed to be rich by their appearance. Something seemed different about them. His first thought was he has seen them somewhere, but was unable to reconnect.

He got busy with his work when he noticed another waitress took the order from them. He noticed that Nitya was missing in the restaurant, he asked another waiter, where was she, he was informed Nitya had called in sick. Raghu was not happy with the answer, surprisingly this was the first time she had taken leave.

Raghu resumed his work when he realised there was a loud noise around the table where that couple was sitting. He saw the guy was down on one knee proposing to the girl sitting in front of him, and the girl was nodding in excitement.

They were loud enough to get the attention of the entire restaurant, everyone was looking at them and clapping.

The girl seemed really gorgeous, she had beautiful long hair and in that peach dress, she looked no less than like an angel straight from heaven. There was a spark in her eyes that really caught Raghu's attention.

He then called one of his waiters and said to bring a cake to that customer table to celebrate their special day.

He reached the couple's table and noticed the girl was wearing a big engagement ring, must be really expensive, he thought to himself.

"Congratulations, Sir & Ma'am, he had a big smile on his face, as he greeted the couple. In the meanwhile, one of the waiters got a beautiful cake to the table. Raghu saw the cake and said, Sir, this is for you and ma'am, On the House, please enjoy.

The guy smiled at Raghu and said, Thank you so much. We appreciate it. Can we trouble you with something else? Can you call the owner of the restaurant, you see now this restaurant has become very special to us since my fiance said Yes to me. Hence we want to now purchase this restaurant.

We are here in India for a very short time, before we got back to London, hence want to finish the formalities fast 

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, I am Akshay Mittal the, business tycoon and this is my fiance Survi Malhotra.

Can you be quick and ask the owner to meet me. Don't worry about the pricing, we are ready to pay a good amount for it.

Raghu with a big smile said, Sir, I am Raghu and actually I am the owner of this restaurant. Can we step into my office please to discuss it further? The couple looked at Raghu bit surprised as if they were disappointed to know about it, however soon they smiled at each other and this time the girl said, Yes, Mr Raghu, Sure. Let's do this. Oh, Yes, in the meanwhile let me call my lawyer so that she can go through the legal formalities. Raghu was jumping in excitement, he couldn't believe everything was happening so fast. Well, Nitya's absence was definitely a blessing for him.

As they took a seat in Raghu's office, Akshay said, See Mr Raghu we can pay you 10 crores for this restaurant. To be honest I don't have much information about the restaurant. Have you been the owner of this restaurant always, or have you bought this from someone else?

Raghu was on cloud nine when he heard the figure, controlling his excitement he answered Akshay Sir, you don't need to get into history, the restaurant belongs to me now, I am the owner of this restaurant. I have the required documents with me. Don't worry.

In the meanwhile, there was a knock at Raghu's door and he noticed, there was a lady in a white saree and a black coat. Even before he could say anything Survi in excitement said "Oh, yes, please come in, this is our lawyer Ms Beena is here to do the legal formalities.

As Beena, took a seat, she said to the couple, I know how much you value your time, that's why I had rescheduled my meetings. Now, Survi told me you guys are planning to buy this restaurant. We need to do the same background checks before we start the process.

So, Mr Raghu, do you have the legal papers stating that this is your restaurant? Can you show me the papers so that I can verify them?

Raghu said, Yes, ma'am. Why don't I order some special tea for you all in the meanwhile, I'll get the papers.

When Raghu returned he came with the legal documents and handed them over to the lawyer and said, Ma'am, you can go through this and let me know so that I can also ask my lawyer to join. Akshay intervened Mr Raghu I guess it's a bit early to involve your lawyer, let my lawyer go through the documents and maybe then your lawyer can step in.

 You see Ms Beena is a renowned lawyer and has been associated with my family for a long time. So why don't we allow her to work, till the time, do you mind if we could get a tour of this restaurant?

Raghu said, Yes, of course. As soon as they got up, Survi got a call that changed her facial expression. She disconnected the call and said "Sweetheart, Fanny is not well, the vet has been called at home, but I need to immediately leave. You know she is too precious for me, do you mind taking the tour alone, I'll meet you at home.

Akshay said, Oh, yes, darling. Don't worry, carry on. Take care of Fanny. She needs you. I'll quickly finish the formalities and shall join you soon.

While Survi left, Raghu showed Akshay the entire restaurant, he made no stone left to describe how wonderful the restaurant is. 

When they returned to Raghu's office, the lawyer was still busy with the documents. Seeing them back, she stood from her chair and said, Akshay, I don't think you should go with the deal. The papers here are incomplete. It seems a very important page is missing in the document. Only If Mr Raghu can share that missing page with us, we can think about it.

Raghu panicked and said, What are you talking about ma'am. This is my restaurant. I am sure, there is some mistake.

Akshay intervened and said, Mr Raghu if you cant share that missing page with us, the deal is off the table.

Raghu was now contemplating how to handle the situation, If he doesn't show the missing paper he'll miss out on the 10 crores, on the other side, if he shows the missing paper, it may get complicated.

Finally from one of his locked drawers, he took out the missing paper and handed it over to the lawyer and said, Here is the missing page of the document.

As the lawyer went through the missing paper, she saw Akshay and said, We cannot do this deal. 

The page stated that this restaurant belonged to Nitya's father earlier. He had mentioned when Nitya shall get engaged and finally married the restaurant would belong to her husband as well. Post their marriage they would be 50-50 partners in this.

 However, if they drift apart or get separated or doesn't get married, the restaurant would belong to Nitya only.

Now, the interesting part is the last page that states he is the owner of the restaurant seem to be the fake one and an illegal one. It seems he got the signature first and then have used this for his own advantage.

Akshay was shocked to hear this and said, What is this Mr Raghu, you said you were the owner of this restaurant. Who is this Nitya? Real owner's daughter? Listen if you guys are married, only then we can do this deal and that too she needs to agree to it. You need to call this Nitya and sort this out before we change our minds.

You know I can actually call the police now, but I don't want to get into it, so why don't you hurry and take the decision.

Raghu was now sweating, he never thought his game would be over so soon, but he had not given up. He had to come up with another plan, he said, Sir, it's just a family matter, don't worry Nitya is my fiance only. She'll come and sign on whatever paper you say. You want to buy this restaurant this would be yours. Let me call her up.

Raghu called Nitya and asked her to immediately come to the restaurant. When Nitya arrived, Raghu briefed her about the situation, now Nitya was fuming in anger and said, Raghu, you big liar, you had been lying to all of us for such a long time and now you have some audacity to ask me to sell off my father's restaurant to this guy. Though I trusted you completely, my father had his reservation, no wonder he had tweaked the documents accordingly.

And you did such a hideous act of hiding such an important page of a legal document.

Let me remind you we only got engaged but not married. Raghu was so desperate, that he said, Nitya, I know what I did was wrong, but I love you, let's get married. Akshay, the lawyer and Nitya were shocked what Raghu just blurted out. 

Amidst all this, there was another knock on the door and they noticed, there was a woman along with a small girl, who said, Raghunath, what are you doing with this girl?

Even before they could realise what was happening, she stormed in and gave a tight slap to Raghu and said, How could you stoop to such a low level. Being already married and a father of a 10-year-old child, you thought of getting married again? And with that, she threw some pics on Raghu's face. They were Raghu and Nitya's engagement pics.

Raghu's silence was enough to confirm that what that lady said was true.

Akshay now said, Nitya, this is Kavita, Raghu's wife and Shanaya is their daughter. Raghu has not only cheated you but has cheated them too.

Nitya was angry and said, Raghu, you are such a disgusting person. Even after having a lovely family, you lied to all of us, just to be the owner of this restaurant. We trusted you and this is what you did. You do realise you have committed multiple crimes here.

Your truth is now out, you deserve to be in jail, let me call the police, they shall take care of you for good.

Much to her surprise, Raghu was now holding Nitya's feet and said, Sorry Nitya, really sorry, Please don't do this. I have a small girl, please don't report to the police. I know I have been greedy. When I met you, I thought of this plan, so that I could support my family, You want the restaurant back, I'll give it to you. I'll go away far from your life and promise shall never come again. 

Nitya was still angry when Shanaya said, Aunty, please don't call the police. They'll take my father and I'll be alone. I am sorry on my father's behalf. Please forgive him. You seem really nice and sweet, please don't do this to us.

She was in tears listening to a 10-year-old, asking for forgiveness for what her father did. She hugged her and said, Ok, princess, just for you, I'll not give your father to the police. She then said, Raghu, I am leaving you today, just because of your daughters. Here are the new papers that I got ready. You sign on it and leave from here. And don't you dare to pull this stunt again on anyone. 

Raghu took the papers from Nitya and immediately signed and said, Thank you Nitya for forgiving me. I'll move to the new city with my family and shall start my life fresh.

He then turned to his wife and said "Sorry Kavita, I cheated on you. Please forgive me. I promise I'll try to be a better person and better father now. But I don't understand who informed and called you here. Kavita pointed towards Akshay and said, "Rishabh Sir'.He contacted us and told me what you did here and also gave me Nitya's and your engagement pics.

Raghu was now confused, he said, but he is Akshay Mittal, a business tycoon, even before he could complete the sentence, Nitya intervened and said, No Raghu this is my friend Rishabh and this lawyer she is Bindiya aunty (Ankita's care-taker) not any lawyer. He said, Wait, but there was a girl with Akshay who was she.?

Rishabh smiled and said, That was our Nitya only, Mr Raghu. Our scriptwriter had given her such a makeover that you were not able to recognise her.

And Nitya I am sorry but before executing the plan I did some background check on Raghu and that's how I came to know about Kavita ji and Shanaya. I shared this with our scriptwriter, she told me to use this information accordingly. I told Kavita Ji the reality and she agreed to support us. I hope you are not angry with me.

Raghu asked, Who is your script-writer, who knew so much about us? His question was answered by a voice 

It's me "The fat girl in the wheelchair" entered Ankita with a smile. Hi Raghu, hope you liked my writing style. You see I am a writer by passion, so thought of giving some interesting turn to the situation.

Nitya rushed towards Ankita and said, "Thank You, Ankita. It's just because of you I got my restaurant back. You are the angel in my life. How could I even thank you for what you have done for me?

Ankita smiled and said, Well, You are an angel in my life too. I have some news for you too. Following your advice, I actually spoke to Vaibhav and we called off our engagement. It was painful for both of us, but it was required. We both were miserable in the relationship, hence finally agreed to go separate ways. You know what's funny, it was easier to handle Vaibhav than my father.

He was furious and angry, but today I was not alone to face his wrath. My brother stood by me and defended me and my decisions. My father didn't take it well and he kind of got a heart attack. He is fine now, currently in hospital. My brother is there taking care of him.

Call it a miracle, but this attack gave him a change of heart too. He accepted me and my brother for what we are than what he wanted us to be. He wants me to pursue my passion for writing books and move forward. And asked my brother to pursue his passion for music too. Can Life be any better, Nitya? Today I don't regret being in this wheelchair when my family and loved ones are my supporting pillar.

Bindiya aunty, Rishabh too hugged Ankita, there was a smile on everyone's face.

Rishabh then looked at Nitya and said, Nitya, I want to tell you something more, something that I should have told you long before. Today while enacting with you the proposal scene, it was actually my true feelings for you that I told you. I know there is too much on your plate, and if you want to take some time, I am fine with it. I don't expect you to love me back, but I just wanted to express my feelings for you. I have never felt like this before for anyone.

And even before Rishabh could say something more, Nitya smiled and said, "Even my Yes, was a way of expressing my feelings towards you.

Ankita smiled and said, See, my plan worked perfectly for you too. I knew how you felt for each other and so thought why not give you an opportunity to express your feelings.

Few years down the line

During a book promotion event, a reporter asked her, Ms Ankita, your book 'The Yellow Umbrella" is such a huge success. who would you like to dedicate this success to?

Ankita smiled, This is dedicated to my mother and to my best friends ( Rishabh and Nitya), who are now husband and wife. This book would have not been possible without them, so Yes, as I have mentioned in the book, Life is challenging, but it becomes easier when you have amazing friends in your life who not only believes in you but also show you, what you are capable of.

Sometimes, we need such people in our life, who bring out the best in us.

And I am blessed to have such people in my life.

If I had not left the Yellow umbrella in my friend's restaurant, I would have not become, who I am today.
