After a while, I told him that I have to leave as it's a bit too late. Rithvik could sense the tension and did not ask me to stay on. He offered to drop me but I refused. He insisted as it was not that safe to venture alone at that time. I reluctantly agreed.

He asked one of his accomplices to wind up everything at the venue by the time he comes back after dropping me. He asked me to wait at the gate while he took out his bike from the parking area. It was a bit weird sitting beside him on the bike but I was somehow liking the way things were progressing so far.

I told him I was staying with Alka tonight as she is unwell and her parents are out of town. He dropped me outside Alka's house.

As I got down to go, he called out to me."Tara, listen!!"

My heart started beating faster. I turned around. We shared an eye lock.
