"The pizza is here!!", he exclaimed.

As we settled down at an arm's length on the royal sofa in his grand living room with a slice of pizza and coke for company, I couldn't stop myself from thinking how different our lives are.

"Did you like it?"

"You seem so lost, all ok?"

"Tara, are you ok?"

He held my hand and I came out of my reverie.

Rithvik looked worried.

Suddenly I realised he was so close, smelling of oregano.

I was falling, deeply, truly, madly...

He was gazing into my eyes and that expression of his, partly guilty about calling me home and partly excited about meeting me.

He inched closer, I moved backward until I reached the edge of the sofa.

Time stood still, I wished the moment would stay forever.

But you know what?

Forever is a long time and most often, a lie...
