I responded to his text saying I would meet him at Harold's Cafe at 6 in the evening. He sent me a smiley face with three hearts. I was feeling overjoyed too.

As luck would have it, my father came home early, at 5.30 pm instead of the usual 7 pm. I had gotten ready when he entered. He enquired where I was headed and I made an excuse that I was going to Alka' s house as we had been really busy with exams and hadn't been able to catch up.

He called my mother who was busy in the kitchen. He announced that his childhood best friend Mr.Khurana was in town after two decades and was coming home, asked mother to prepare something nice for dinner.

I was told to stay at home as Mr. Khurana specifically wanted to me, his best friend's only child. Alka can wait until tomorrow.

Would Rithvik wait until tomorrow?
