Someone Else In The Dark

My friend Scarlett texted me that, 'I don't know what is going on between you and Grace, but she told me to send you this:

Grace: I know I'm too mean. I have a lot of imperfections. But people who don't accept all my faults, I don't have any interest in keeping any contact with them. 

I was so shocked because I didn't say anything! So I messaged my friend, Sarah. Sarah said not to worry and she would talk to Grace.

Grace messaged me.

'Look, I am sorry if I hurt you, but I did not like the way you said that I am mean.'

Me: But I didn't say anything! Who told you that?

Grace: Scarlett...

Me: WHAT?

We cleared matters and came to know that Scarlett did it. She sent fake messages and tried to break us apart. When we told Scarlett to apologize, she didn't and fought more.

A few days later, Scarlett messaged me saying that she wants to be my friend again:

Scarlett:

Hi Rebecca. I saw a very good friend in you and will always do... I didn't want to spoil our friendship but it happened. I have never spoken bad about you and never will. Hope sometime we might find a friend in each other again. Thanks for all the good memories and sorry for all that happened. Feeling bad about losing a good friend. Byeeee.

I told her that we are just classmates, and she agreed.

Again a few days later, she wrote a story saying that we are cheaters and all. 

The thing is that I and Grace had msg her best friend, Abby, to clear matters because we knew Abby is a very sweet girl and we wanted to be friends with her. She was in my bus and we used to play. But Scarlett spoiled it all by telling her bad things about me.

I know I wasn't able to frame sentences nicely, but this is a very true story. I just wanted to tell you that beware of such friends because they can spoil your image in front of others. Like Scarlett spoiled my image in front of Abby.

Beware, cuz they are someone else in the dark...........
