Save The Earth

"I fall from the sky to the earth to make it cool, to help them get fresh water. They use me for domestic purposes and agriculture as well. But they don't have any gratitude, they keep wasting me without even thinking twice", Complained about the water.

"I lose myself bit by bit just to make their lives comfortable, yet they are not satisfied with that. They feel rather than growing plants, building complexes would make more money. Thus, clearing all of us", said the tree with tears.

"What should I say, though they can't even stay alive for few minutes without me, still they never take care of me", said the air with a sigh.

"Once in a year, somewhere or the other their peers are becoming prey to our anger yet there is no change in their behavior", said water.

"We are not asking anything for ourselves, right? We just wanted them to keep us in store for their future generations as well. They can't even do this for their own species", blurted out tree controlling its anger.

"Lost in their greediness, they are exploiting all of us. Let’s show them what will happen if we all do strike and disappear for a week", said the water determined to teach mankind a lesson.

Everyone agreed and as decided, from the very next morning the whole place has only concrete walls, large complexes and everywhere they could find the only rock. No humidity in the air, no water to drink, overall giving a scene of a desert without an oasis.

Breathing in the polluted air, having packed food, going out in the heated sun, feeling thirsty made people restless and they started becoming weak both mentally and physically. It seemed that mankind would become extinct if this continues for a few more days and that is when they realized the beauty of God's creation and the life cycle.

At that moment, thinking that the world would end, all the people woke up shouting “no” and ran into their kitchen to check water and as the ruffling sound came from the tap, they sighed in relief and it became big news as everyone got the same dream.

“As everyone would have been aware of this weird dream that suddenly popped into our sleep, Let’s take it as a warning from nature and respect it. So, from the government’s side, they have increased public transport and also started the campaigns to going green. It is the responsibility of every individual to take care of nature just like it has been doing since ages. Save the earth and it will never let you down”, ended a reporter. 

Scared to face such a situation everyone started planting trees in front of their houses and using water and electricity only as much as needed.

“Finally, our efforts did give us good results. I am happy that the reduction in pollution does prevent few diseases”, said air comfortably settling down along with water and tree.

“Hello, first thank me for converting winters into summer. If not, they wouldn’t have realized so soon”, came on Sun.

“Sure, but please stay little far from us, I feel exhausted”, replied water moving away.

They all had fun blessing the earth with all the resources.
