"Oh No!"

"I can't find it, it's the time when I need it the most", she thought.

Kriti was devastated. Tarun had blurted out the obvious. She knew this was coming but she secretly hoped it won't happen anytime soon.

Needless to say, she was hurt. She didn't say anything. She was observing Tarun's facial expressions and hand gestures. Not an ounce of remorse.

She got up, Tarun did not stop her. She came to her room and locked the door. She went and sat in front of the dressing table and looked at herself in the mirror.

She knew she was strong, she would get over it, life is all about ups and downs, after all. She looked closely at her face in the mirror and winked.

Suddenly something struck her hard. She quickly started looking for something but could not find it.

Why does it have to happen to her?

She wanted it desperately but couldn't find it. She got hold of her handbag and emptied its contents. It was not there, probably she had lost it.

She took her wallet and barged out. Tarun was nowhere, probably he had left, left for good maybe.

She walked around in a haze. She couldn't find an auto for 10 minutes. Finally, she found one. She got into it.

She had reached her destination. She boarded another auto after ten minutes. She was relieved having gotten what she wanted desperately.

She came home, there were mixed feelings in her gut, her self proclamation of strength was wavering away, she felt weak, cheated, humiliated sort of. The feeling had begun to sink in.

Tarun had ended their three-year-old live-in relationship. The pain was unbearable. She almost felt she would not be able to survive the breakup. She started sobbing uncontrollably.

She removed it out of her wallet. Finally, she had managed to get it in the middle of being devastated. She knew she had to get over the breakup and this was her only escape, the solution to her misery.

She opened it and brought it closer to her face, to her lips. She looked at herself in the mirror and put it down. She wiped her tears, ruffled her hair a bit.

She picked it up again and brought it closer to her lips. This time she felt determined to let go of her past.

She applied her favorite Ruby Woo that she had just bought. She looked her in the mirror.

The bright red Ruby Woo on her lips had lit up her face. After all, red is the colour of love.
