"Are you sure you can raise them up, they are too small to be handled, will you be able to do this"? said a voice. "I'll starve every day but will never let them sleep with an empty stomach" ,said Kaushalya who lost his husband in an accident and had three children to be taken care of, who were very young to understand that their dad isn't there with them, out of three children two were boys and (a) other one was a girl, they were 10,8 and 5 years old, girl being the eldest among all. She, by the whole procedure, understood about everything, but consoled everyone and pretended as if she isn't familiar with the same.

The story starts with a strong mother Kaushalya, who was a housewife and never attended school due to poverty her family faced, and that's the reason why her children still make fun of her being illiterate, but her daughter was intelligent enough and would cut off them (brothers) every time they made fun of her. Belonging to a middle class family, they had a beautiful relationship and lived their lives peacefully, until a mis happening was waiting to eat up their happiness, and that was the sudden death of Kaushalya's husband, and that's when everything ended in front of her eyes, she had no idea that the one who laughed a moment ago with her has left her forever. She was worried about children's upbringing but decided to work hard to give them the life their father dreamt of.

She completed every procedure of the funeral, and started working from the other day, she had no idea about what she was going to do, how she would do it, but closed her eyes and saw her children and went to people asking for a job, after many tries and many days, she got a job of preparing food a local place nearby, and that's how she started working, she did every odd job from morning to evening, just to give her children the life they deserved, she often got tired but never showed it to everyone ,but her daughter caught her everytime and gave her massages and medicines and took care of her, soon Minakshi, completed her graduation ,and now her mom wanted to see her getting married, as she was getting old and remained ill most of the time, by this time Minakshi took the responsibility of earning and took care of everything.

After some days, she got married to a rich man, who chose her himself and was deeply in love with her, mom agreed and the marriage took place, they made a happy family, everything went well, mom too was living a happy life. Soon Minakshi had kids and they were happy in their lives.

After three years,

Minakshi was blessed with two children, but one among them was handicapped and couldn't walk properly, they visited every hospital but got a denial from everywhere. But they treated him as a normal person and took good care of him, they were happy in their little family. But all wasn't rosy as misfortune was about to cover them and trap in its dangerous circle, and that's when Minakshi's husband died due to cancer and left everyone in the dilemma. Minakshi couldn't believe her eyes as after her father she found love in her husband who treated her just like his father did, but that too taken away from her, her happiness faded in that very moment, she saw her children and took the same decision her mother took.

She despite sacrificing her life, gave her life to her children, and Minakshi, by taking inspiration from her mother led the same way her mother did, she took good care of her child, money saved helped them for some time, but she needed more money to educate her children and pay for his handicapped child, that's when she decided to work. She was educated enough and got a job, though she had difficulties in finding one, as she gave up her job for many years, but after struggling she found one. She did part-time jobs too, and fed her family. She wanted to give them the best of amenities they deserved.

The society made fun of her but all she cared was for her children, and gave her 200% to provide the best of best she could, and that's how her children became successful, her mother passed away, and now she had only three people left who actually cared for her. But, her struggle wasn't wanting to end here, her daughter in law hated her for her looks, she didn't like the way she lived and wanted to throw her out of the house, she tried many times but was unsuccessful, until one day came when she was lucky enough to get her work done, and that's how she threw her and send her to old age home. She with a heavy heart looked at his son, who shook his head and gave permission to leave, he didn't saw the tears her mother had, but the fake tears her wife portrayed convinced him. He didn't give a thought on the struggles of her mother and how she raised him but chose the one whom he met months ago.

She left the house, which has seen her cry, struggling, happy, sacrificing, and others but she left for her son's happiness. She got herself adjusted in the old age home. Everyone in the house was welcoming and had a bitter history but lived with a beautiful smile. Minakshi took some days and adjusted herself and lived there missing her mom and family. But destiny doesn't always gives bad luck or sadness, as this time destiny came to surprise Minakshi, as her handicapped child came to take her and wanted her to leave this place and was ready with a team who would hear about her inspiring life, and will give her a chance to get published in a book. Minakshi at first, denied but couldn't say no to her son and did everything he said, and that's how struggling and inspiring life a woman had, who got what she deserved at the end.

If Kaushalya would have thought of giving up that day, she wouldn't have given birth to Minakshi. Women are the most beautiful creatures created by God, whose work is never appreciated and is made fun of, every time for not working, But women like Kaushalya and Minakshi who broke all the stereotypes raising their children being a single mother is inspiring as well as appreciable.
