My First Vote
My First Vote
A Drop of ink makes many people think. This is a very Famous Proverb which emphasizes The Importance of Writing.
But Perhaps If the drop of ink is on your Index finger. It gives the opportunity for the
Country to think. Your couple of minutes are
Quite important for the betterment of the country. During my childhood my father would rush up his Motorcycle and used to proudly show the ink which implies vote given. In my school we had a subject named Civics which was a part of History.
Civics often had the topics of Zilla parishad
And other institutions which are quintessential for the smooth running of the country. It explained the role played by
Democracy for the country. Your role is pivotal to ensure smooth functioning of our Country. Today was my First Time as i voted. We often blame the failures on the
Sluggishness and lazy working. But, what
Steps do we take to correct them. We recline on a chair, blame the government and sip on the tea. Playing Blame games aren't beneficial for the better future of our Country. Our company had off today because of election duty. I woke up at 5 30 Am. I went to play Football at Mulund. After playing i rushed up to catch the bus. I had breakfast and I along with My Mother and Neighbor went to the polling booth. I showed my disability certificate and my id document the on-duty officer let me in and requested to sit. I was called the election commission officer checked my name and the assigned number and read aloud my name. And i Voted. Feels like cloud nine
As I have voted. This is just the start as I will vote every five years now on.
