Uncle Trevor was an enthusiastic person who loved being surrounded by children, often donning the clothes of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Richard, a pauper, harbored the solemn ambition of learning and making a name for himself.

One day, Richard approached Harold, expressing his ambition and seeking support. However, Harold mocked and laughed at him, stating that having Richard as a student would only lead to academic failure.

Jordan, another boy, joined in the mockery, stating that even Santa Claus would hesitate to fulfill Richard's wish. The other boys echoed this sentiment, except for Jack and Sam, who encouraged Richard to be optimistic and emphasized the importance of hard work and perseverance for success.

Jack and Sam narrated the incident to Uncle Trevor, who decided to teach the boys a lesson for their discouragement and demotivation. Uncle Trevor devised a plan to turn the tables.

Later, dressed as Santa Claus, Uncle Trevor addressed Richard's dejection, assuring him that criticism should be disregarded and where there is a will, there is a way. Uncle Trevor announced that the boys who mocked Richard would be responsible for his education to prove their own superiority.

Uncle Trevor then revealed presents for everyone but made it clear that exhibiting talent was a prerequisite to receive them. He looked at Harold, challenging his expertise in Maths and Science, and Jordan, questioning his knowledge of Social Science.

Harold and Jordan showcased their skills, but Uncle Trevor intentionally delayed giving them their presents. Frustrated, Harold and Jordan complained about the trick, to which Uncle Trevor explained that their arrogance and boastfulness had led to their exclusion.

Finally, Uncle Trevor called Richard and stood up on his behalf, appreciating his earnest request and condemning the boys for their demotivation. Uncle Trevor ensured that Richard's educational needs were met, and in the end, Richard excelled in studies, outperforming Harold and Jordan. The story concludes with Jack, Sam, and Uncle Trevor deciding to help a needy child and urging everyone to fight the evils of jealousy and arrogance.

Merry Christmas to everyone, and may we all embrace kindness and encouragement.
