My First Page....

Dear Diary,

I have many lovely people around me who love and care for me. . . but I need someone or something(as in your case) who is very patient to listen to me lengthy and silly tales without a sulk. I simply know you are that special one. Let me introduce you to my kind-hearted, caring and very hard-working mother home we can call Mom. I have a dotting, funny, hilarious dad who is more of a friend and I nicknamed him Tom (inspired from the cartoon Tom & Jerry) and I do have an elder bro, Jeswin who is very intelligent and doesn't talk too much to me except when he wants some goodies or when he is teaching me. Well, I know you're bored listening to all the stuff but, how will you understand me if you don't know me(which you will with time) and those who are an integral part of my life as a human being.

Oh wait! let me assign you a name. Could it be I could it be Anne?. . No, I don't like it much. George?. . . that seems perfect!In these days of quarantine due to coronavirus pandemic(it might be deadly, I guess)all humanity, so it seems is locked in the shackles of their homes. Its awfully tough on kids like me or not allowed to play for more than twenty minutes. To kill time I help my mom in the kitchen and read, read and read. I exercise with Tom every morning. I finished reading my novel titled'Famous Five. . . . Smugglers Top' and I love the boyish little character George in the story. George, how I wish you are also that thrilling to me in the times to come when I turn your pages after growing up.

My day today started with a bang! I forgot to check my mail yesterday. When I open my mailbox today, I was overwhelmed to find that I would not be able to complete my 21 day writing challenge. Come on George imagine if I write to you for twenty days. . . taking up the challenge. Though, I'm thinking I'm going to post today onwards. Oh, Tom is calling. I'm going for an exercise(I aim to be fit as a fiddle in the coming days). Exercising with Tom is the best part of my routine. . . he is jolly funny. Praying with Granny at night makes my day end on a good note too. I have a good start and a good end almost everday(except when I am crabby). Don't you feel envious stores on hearing this, George. Try to understand, you are the first page and the first page is boring. Even a baby seems to be sleeping and sleeping and boring on his first day. As time passes you get more exciting stuff I hope. .
