Dear Diary,

You know, every third day in the week is marked as a hair wash day for me ... This takes good long time and effort for I have waist length of not so straight hair. Huh! I always loved straight hair or say manageable hair, but unfortunately, mine was never in that category.

Off late, I started reading about my hair... oh yes, there is a lot of science behind the scene, never imagined though. To start with I had to deduce what type is my hair and what's its porosity. Those were the two important facts to start with. Yes, the type can be anything ranging from 1,2A,2B... to 4C- you will find them on the internet, what each type looks like and kind of relate to you know yours and the porosity... there are few quick methods to check, you know where to go.

Once I figured those out, then started reading about the wavy hair routine... What products to use, what not and especially how and when to use! ...with a few basic rules to follow while in this routine for healthy hair. I know there are few books about them as well but haven't read them yet ... all in all, its been quite an interesting bit to learn and understand... am still experimenting though. But yes, this made me fall in love with my hair again.

Been a year now that I am into this journey... it's absolutely worth it!

Now, I am planning to sit in the sun to feel a bit warmer and also for my hair to dry and read an interesting book named 'Why are we yelling'... It's a lovely book gifted to me by one of my friends. What are you up to?
