I was a born in a simple middle class family, where the dreams of the family was to give a proper education and live a respectful life.

My parents were educated up to SSLC, but they lived a contended life. Every day it was a battle for livelihood, but in all these struggles they put me in an English medium school.

The School was known for its reputation, it was one of the famous schools in the city. Many of the celebrity’s children’s were studying in that school. Every day I used to go to school, play learns the things, but all alone.

I was an ordinary child, with no luxury pencil box, bags or toys. I never knew there was something called status in those days. With no interest, I used to go to school, even teacher’s showed partiality, where schools were meant to be a place to learn, I learned the hard reality of life, early in life.

Days passed, but when it came to promotion to the next class, they detained me.

My parents were invited for an open house

The teachers mentioned

“The reason for detaining your kid, he was too childish and was playing with toys all the time. A terrible introvert, who never made a friend and not good in studies.”

What kind of research study I was doing in my pre-nursery?

Still I remember, the day where, I was traveling back to home with my mother. With silent tears, falling on my head, while I was sleeping. I used to strike a conversation, but she never speaks, I didn’t know what my mistake was, but soon realized it’s the numbers which I got, gives the respect to my parents.

Days passed, I started losing my humor and started becoming a serious person, but in spite of my attempts, still I was failing in “English”

My parents, decided to send me for tuition, but nothing worked out, the tuition master mentioned “He is good for nothing! a hopeless case, he will never succeed in life or in studies Don’t waste money on him!”.

Back in the school, my classmates drew a line based on status. It was a birthday of a student. Cake cutting happened, and birthday party invitation has been shared to the other kids, in a class of 30, my name was missed. Out of innocence I went and asked the teacher.

“Mam, you Missed my name!”

She replied, "I don’t have any cards left, you have not been invited!"

To make the things worse, I have started isolating myself, a bank bench student was born.

Days, passed and my performance as well got degraded, finally I failed.

The principal, mentioned that I can’t do well in other school, try to put him in a State Board School.

The TC was taken, and finally it was a freedom in disguise of a failure!

I was placed into a competitive board in a different school with a lot of difficulty,

I did put in lot of efforts with no tuition, still managed to get a good marks.

I may not be perfect, but I had the stamina and handwork to fight back.

I became the first degree holder, in my family.

As parent, the only request to you is to put your child in a right school, which raises them as a good citizen.

Don’t take education as an status issue. A good child can succeed in any situation, and no two kids are same!

“Einstein” can’t be raised in schools, he/she can be raised only with motivation of parents and letting them explore the things on their own way!

The Schools, who rejected him, are teaching his concepts, and promises to raise a Einstein without creativity and individual thought ?

Kids are blank slates, if one can’t motivate them, don’t discourage. Schools are meant to be a place, where everyone gets an equal treatment. Just by enforcing uniforms, equality can’t be achieved.

When it comes to leadership, if there is a change in the attitude of a child, see what can make them better and why they are behaving in that way.

Even a small improvement from poorly performing child, is a big win for teachers.

Celebrate their success, in a big way than a top performer. As every kid is unique on their own territory,

As teacher one need to motivate and identify the same.Numbers doesn’t matter, when the job is taken as a passion.

Teaching profession is meant for people who have passion, if one is looking to make money, please switch to a different profession!

As you are misguiding the children, who are looking you, as a god of knowledge.

Last, but not least, no one, else can pull you down, other than yourself.

At times I did hit rock bottom, got buried at times with lot of pressure, but have never quit.

Stagnant water is breed for disease. No matter, what the situation is keep going, the results may not be visible,

But till we are making an effort it is fine!

Nothing can teach you, as much as a Failure. Respect them. Learn from them!
