Love At First Sight

Linda's POV

I am just a normal young woman, living in Paris and looking for a partner.... Living alone for years has made me sad, and I need someone who'll support me... Someone who will steal my heart.....

I was waiting for that man, who had appointed me to plan his trip. He's quite famous, but I don't know much about him.

I was lost in thoughts, when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, to see a man standing there, with jet black hair and sea-green eyes. 

'Linda, right?'

I realized that I was staring at him with my mouth hanging open. 'Y-yes.'

Oh. So this was the man I was waiting for, whose trip I had planned. I gazed into those beautiful pair of eyes..... I was instantly falling in love.....

'Thanks for planning the trip and managing everything, Linda.' He said politely, in a soothing voice.

'Y-you're welcome, sir.' I managed.

'No need to call me sir!' He laughed, a clear happy sound which made my heart go ka-bump!

'C-can I g-get an autograph? H-huge fan.' I stammered.

'Sure!'

He took my notepad and pen..... And at that time I noticed that horrible thing-the ring in his finger. While he was signing the autograph, the ring glinted teasingly, as if to say, Ha, how you like that!?

'A-are you married!?' I choked.

He looked up and smiled, the smile which was driving me crazy. 'Yes. I'm married.'

My heart shattered into a thousand pieces.

Love at first sight!? What is love at first sight!? It's just a fantasy that cannot come true. IMO, it's all about beauty. If he/she is good looking, you will obviously be attracted to them. But love isn't about beauty. You know what I mean.

There is no such thing as love at first sight.
