Lockdown Day 10
Lockdown Day 10
Today is the 10th day of the Corona enforced lockdown. Days are passing in captivity as if we are caged animals in a zoo. I remember my visits to the zoos during my childhood when we watched various animals in their captivity in delight. However, the emotional turmoil in me would cause pain inside me as the animals were forced to live in captivity instead of freely roaming in the wilderness of the forests. I hope our all compassionate Good is taking note of our captivity and will give back our freedom to us soon.
European and American countries are still not able to tame the unrelenting march of the pandemic, while in India it is spreading at a leisurely pace keeping everybody with fingers crossed. I am much concerned about the well being of my parents in their late seventies living alone in far of place at Bathinda. They were finding it difficult to accomplish the daily chores even when the world was in an orderly state, but now when there is chaos all around, they are at their wit's end with not much help in sight.
These are testing times while God is making every one of us pass through the toughest exam of our lives. I hope everyone holds their nerves during this game of Life to start a new beginning.
