It's a Lockdown, not a Lockup!

It's a Lockdown, not a Lockup!

It's a Lockdown, not a Lockup! The lockdown is uncertainly going to affect many people in different ways but some people are wanting this lockdown to have an effect on their lives. There were people who always wanted to stay home but never thought about this chance. Many moms out there are having the best staycation as they break the stereotype of making their daughters do the household chaos alone and maybe we are the last generation who saw the gender bais and heading towards the spoken gender equality.

And obviously, the working dads came to know how nasty their kids are. The old grandparents whom we would visit every weekend are now staying with us and teaching us the meaning of life which none of the books taught us. The gaping of Ramayan was incomplete without the oldies telling us the gist before the episode. Lockdown made some bad chefs try their hands on many dishes and made their family time wish list not be a wish anymore. Many told their kids about how they would spend time when there were no electronic gadgets at their time. Many people got an amazing staycation without even planning one. We could never plan a 21-day long staycation at home and made a wishlist at home for things to get accomplished in the house. Nor could we plan to play the childhood game Ludo which is connecting friends sitting at their homes today and definitely not make a coffee on our own.

Some made a Dalgona coffee for posting it on the story but others took it seriously until they tasted it and hated it for being bitter. Many people just ruined it by sending many WhatsApp messages to let it be fake or true. But life is so small in the big house as the outer world became our only house. Some working people gave their job 12 hours of their life and the remaining time to the traffic and most importantly to their social apps and the rest of the time is just enough to sleep without even snoring. Life was difficult but now staying in the house seems more difficult. People were busy building houses but forgot to stay in. It's ok if you get paid less for a month, It's ok if you are not having cheese in your fridge, It's ok if you don't have milk in your tea, It's ok if you don't have a newspaper at your home, It's ok if you are having less junk food, It's ok if you are missing the streets outside, It's ok if you are having more money but can't shop even online, It's ok if your maid isn't coming, It's ok if you can't meet your friends, It's ok if can't tour around the world, It's ok if everything outside is not ok and you have to stay home for it. It's ok to stay at home until everything in the world seems to be ok.

"God might have planned the changes in the world but the sudden changes in our lives were instinctive."
