Half

The grey hair made my heart pound faster and faster. I just noticed while I was gazing at the sunset sitting on the rocking chair which was gifted to me by my son- in - law who is living with my eldest daughter in America, that half of my life is gone !. Still, I cannot believe how faster my daughters grew up and I gave them in marriage to big and wealthy families.

  Oh !! I felt like I have done half of my duties in my life...I have only few remaining..Life is a marvellous platform. I just gazed how the half of the sun sinking down and the other half getting ready. 

  I just went inside and checked my mini library , oh!! There were some books which I have read only half because may be their language or meaning is not much as I expected..

  While I was seeking the books, I just found out a letter, Hah hah!! It was a secret old love letter, which I wrote to Anna. Alas !! She was lucky to become my wife but ..she could only stay a half period in my life. She took wings to heaven before I close my eyes.

  I just felt cold, so I started to see for my sweater....Oh no!! Half of the clothes are not even just touched, so new...Brand new shirts and some shorts..most of them are imported ones.

 As a man who eats at time, I just felt hunger. The old man Kamal, who used to cook for me and stay with me has only half done his cooking. I just turned my head away to make sure he didn't notice me pepping into the kitchen.

 I just saw my diary lying on the old table , which was half cleaned. I just took it to my hand to read, where some incidents were written only half.

  I just noticed my pen is almost half dried out but I felt lazy to fill some ink, so I just sat down on the sofa and began to collect my memories...half of those memories are almost decayed now...

  I felt like I'm also like decayed...half of my life is completed and few to do....Life may turn black at any time ...May be when your half of the life is gone....
