Guys Who Cry!

He fell down hurting his knee. The pain was unbearable and tear rushed out of his eyes.

Listening to the noise, his mother rushed to him. Seeing him sitting on the ground with a wounded knee and tear in the eye, his mother said "Don't cry. Boys don't cry" . He is a little baby and all he learnt is Listen to your mother, she is always right. The only thing he got is even though it hurts, he can't cry.

He grew up. One day after returning from school, he saw his mother being scolded by his father, using harsh words, treating like shit. His mother is in tears and some marks on her hand. He was behind the curtain watching all this. When he asked his mother why don't she answers back. She said "We are not allowed to. He is my husband and I can't disobey him". That day he learnt Men are powerful and however they treat women, it is acceptable.

He saw his mother doing all household work.

His father doesn't even fetch a glass of water for himself. He just has to give a call and his mother rushes with the glass. There he learnt, men are superior and they won't do any work at home as they earn. Women are only meant for the household.

He grew up and started working. He met a girl, fell in love. And that girl left him behind. He was broke but yet couldn't cry. Because men don't cry. He tried hard but the eyes had the signal to shed tears as the heartaches. 

He locked himself in the bathroom and cried like hell. He couldn't get what wrong he did. Why the girl he loved so much left him like this. All he did was scream at the girl which as not wrong as men can abuse women as his dad did to his mom. He couldn't get where he went wrong.

Sooner or later, he got over with this and got married to a beautiful girl he met at a cafe near his office.

After marriage, she asked him to help with the chores, he was aware he wasn't meant for that..He has to earn and she has to do the chores.

So this all starts at home. The things a child sees and learns is mostly from the place he resides.
