Green Vegetables

My dear Diary,

Today, I completed one year at Lumshnong. I am not celebrating. I can not....

Corona cases are increasing day by day. This is worrying. I had a sad day.

My wife is repeatedly informing me that there is no green vegetables. How there will be?

I can not go out! Don't know where the Corona virus is waiting for us.

We are within the house. One of my drivers, found the way to go out of the company gate, managed a vehicle probably the goods one and reached Kalain 60 km away from this place. He used to bring cow milk from the cooperative stores.

So now, there is no milk and vegetables. I was informed that there will be a distribution of vegetables from Star club. Later, I came to know this is not for us. I gave a call to some of the support staff and managed to get some vegetables; Tomato 1/2 kg, Cabbage 1 piece and 50 gm of beans.

Actually, we can manage without this in a difficult time but She is getting bored and trying to send me out. But, I will not go.

Usual yoga, meditation, the telephonic conversation was part of the usual daily routine.

Few more Nagarajulu and Krishnendu completed 1 year at school. I can see some movement in the evening. It is becoming difficult for children to stay inside. There is long waiting Que in front of star club for vegetables. There is sufficient ration inside. Black day for share market too. Difficult to save downfall in the financial market due to this COVID-19. There is another news coming from Telangana that in the wake of covid, Govt has decided a huge pay cut for its employee.

Once side, a state chief Minister is appalling to private sector not to cut salary and here govt itself is deducting 75% salary from its employee. This gives a signal that in the coming days the situation will worsen. I decided to read stories on the Kindle app. I have downloaded 2 books for the same.

My wife is calling for dinners probably no green vegetable or vegetables. I think it is good to eat without green vegetables because nowadays vegetables and fruits becoming a store house of toxic chemicals. These fresh looking or green vegetables are not green but have Pesticides, heavy metals and chemicals. But madam won't accept this.
