Based on prompt 17

Looking out of the improper window of the simple hut made from pieces of wood he could see the towering buildings opposite. Being a windy night, the pointed roof shaked and it made cracking noise. Unable to cover his chest, the cold winds made him shiver terribly.

With mice and mosquitoes swarming all around he felt uncomfortable. Being in poverty he could not expect anything more. Without a proper education there was no job outside except for the mean jobs that was offered to him. The bad weather spoilt the meagre income he used to earn. Without having anything to eat he was starving in hunger.

Just at the opposite of his hut, the street was lined with towering buildings and gleaming structures. The demarcation was very visible and he aspired to live in one of those buildings opposite. With his faulty radio claiming that cold waves were approaching he had no option than to tremble inside the dilapidated hut than to kill himself sleeping outside.

Poverty is a terrible cycle in itself and he felt it as a swamp around him pulling him down and down.
