Giving a Hand!
Dear Diary,
I started my day with a good Tabata training. This is a workout plan which starts with a warm-up, has got some plank, squats, lunges, and bridges included, for a total of 25 minutes. Each is a 20 seconds workout followed by 10 seconds rest!. Post Tabata, it felt quite refreshing and energetic:)
Followed this by a quick breakfast and realized we had to go to the grocery store to pick stuff.. being into this locked down due to COVID19 breakdown, it's not been that easy a decision to just walk out to the stores frequently and essentially for the older gen.
I live in a society where there are few apartments with three flats on every floor and am on the 9th. Knowing both my neighbors, who are close to 70+ years and with this current situation; I thought to leave them a note to pass me a list of any grocery items they wanted to be picked up from the store. So I posted a note on their doors saying 'Item name & quantity, please' followed by the name and knocked their doors; vanished before they even opened :D
Waited for an hour, and revisited :)... Saw that each of them had listed a couple of items to be brought.. and one of them had also left a hand made 'Thank you' card for me:) Such a kind gesture!
We both then hopped into the store, picked everything we needed and delivered !!.. Happy me :)
And yes, I am invited for cheese and wine once we are all out of this crisis :)..Till then quarantine and stay safe !!
