“Cloning, the desired technique which was brought onto the world 265 years back is now possible, only for me. Life became easy after my invention. Easy because it was kept away from the public. Of course, I did not want to share my invention with the world. I knew sharing the information with the world would only bring its potential to limits. I used my invention, created my own version of soldiers by giving them a little tweak. I kept everything the same but changed their physical appearance so that the resemblance between us is absent. This way I could be anywhere and everywhere without raising an alarm by anyone. Omnipresent at a human level is the power of my invention. One more necessary adjustment I did was to reset the age of my clone which allowed me to create an even younger version of myself.

My mission became clear after the invention which is to learn all the jobs in the world and become the master of all trades. Today, I could clone myself a thousand times and after a decade or two, these thousands of clones will be in every part of the city, doing various jobs. One could be a musician, while the other could be a nurse, one could be a plumber while the other could be a track racer or a chef. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Pardon me, the naivety of this world makes me laugh, Inspector!

Chef? Musician? Nurse? Did you actually think I invented cloning to do these petty jobs? No! My invention is also not restricted to a mere city. I have set my sights on this planet in its entirety. Think about a society where I am the mayor, I am the powerful billionaire who is responsible for a majority portion of a country’s economy, I am the Chief Secretary to the President, I am the Captain to one of the Submarines which has nuclear power. The possibilities of power are endless!”

“A nut job for sure”, said the Police Inspector after listening to the confession of a mad scientist. He lit a second cigarette as he gave one to his subordinate. They stood in their jackets on the terrace of their police station while the cold November winds persevered to freeze their body.

“Think what could happen if he would have succeeded in his plan”, said the subordinate.

“Who said he didn’t succeed?”, questioned the Police Inspector as he kicked his subordinate who lost balance and fell from a 10-storey building.
