College Life

During the Chipko movement, hundreds of innocent people in a town were killed. Their bodies were buried in the ground secretly.

Fifty years later, a businessman, Karthik, bought that land to build a hospital. Suddenly, he went bankrupt and left the country. The land was then acquired by his rival businessman Ravan. He decided to build a college on that land. Hundreds of students joined the college. But, the problems soon started to arise.

Food in the hostel mess often gets contaminated by cockroaches leading to students developing food poisoning. Sewage water comes out of the taps. Drinking water is unfit for consumption. Seniors rag their juniors brutally. College election always ends in a massive fight and several students get injured. The lifts, computer and air conditioner stopped working due to repeated short circuits. Students stopped travelling through the lift due to fear of being trapped. Professors are unable to teach properly as they can't do their PowerPoint presentations. Students get suffocated in the classrooms due to no proper airflow. There is a shortage of teaching staff in the college. Day scholars miss a lot of classes as they are late to college every day because of traffic. Few students in the hostel got addicted to smoking. Others suffered from passive smoking. They all developed lung cancer. Despite, the students and parents writing the letter, the college management never took any action.

Students organise a protest against the injustice they are facing. But, the protest is soon called off as the police drive away all the students. Some students decide to go to the house of the owner of the college and convince him to help them. However, they find him dead in his house. Police say he committed suicide. But, the truth is unknown.

It's been ten years since the college was opened. But, not even a single batch has received their degree because students are not able to pass exams. The mental health of students begins to deteriorate. They get addicted to alcohol, drugs and other addictive substances. However, one day a miracle happened. All the students of the senior-most batch passed their University exams. The students decided to celebrate it. All of them climb the wall of the college from outside and reach the roof of the building. All the students look at each other, hold their hands jump from the top and die.
