Chapter 1: Imprisoned

My cellmate looked at me with a sardonic expression. His lip curled into a sneer and his green eyes glinted with sadism as he watched me struggle to my feet. We were trapped in a hollow, vacant cave of sorts. He introduced himself as Azazel Morgan while observing my quiet and somber expression with amusement.

I didn’t bother with formalities. Scrambling to my feet, I began to explore the cave. “Don’t waste your energy, there’s no escape from this”, his deep, husky voice echoed. “What is this? where are we? what is this place? What are we even doing here in the first place? and why can’t I remember how I got here?”, I burst out with uncontrollable rage and fury. “Calm down, mate. The reason why you don’t remember how you got here is because you were drugged. And as for where we are, to be quite frank, I myself don’t know. I arrived here a day before you.

We suddenly heard pained screams and I began to panic. I scrambled around to find an escape. With a deafening screech, a rusty gate opened and two guards grabbed us and dragged us out.
