The students of that college couldn't spend a day without appreciating the beauty of Seema, the professor of Botany. Her height was just above normal and her face, so tiny with small eyes and nose and lips similar to the petals of roses. She made sure of her looks and dressed in a manner, with a standard look with a saree neatly draped and matching accessories showcasing a classy look of a literate woman. She had never been so choosy in her costumes before, nor did she express her likes for clothes and accessories to her parents. She remained an obedient child to her parents and kept herself mum when her parents choice of clothes and accessories even though they were not her cup of tea. Her elder sister wore clothes of her choice from her childhood days. She was always observed as an outcast by the family since she lived her life instead of coping with the struggle to get adjusted to the things preferred by her parents. Seema never felt satisfied with other's choices. Over the years she started to live her life but with the consciousness that she should not feel inferior in her looks.

During the pandemic days, people were asked to take a test for COVID-19 presence. It happened in every nook and cranny of the world. Seema's house was not an exception. After her elder sister and father tested themselves for COVID-19, the members of the Corporation asked if there was anyone else was there inside the house. Seema was yet to come. Her father called her many times. It took nearly ten minutes for her to turn up. Her father and elder sister were helpless but looked at each other. After two years, her elder sister was a married woman who returned home to meet her sister and her father. She found Seema missing in her house. She made a call to her. Seema replied that she was at the jewelry shop to buy some accessories and it would take time to come. Her elder sister had just an hour to stay back at home and felt bad about her. " Can't she pick some other ornaments to wear for the next day?" "Is it necessary for her to buy new accessories for the next day's event at her college? " Why is she conscious of her looks all the time?" " Why doesn't she come to visit her sister's friends without wearing face makeup?" By the time Seema returned, her elder sister asked her about the beauty consciousness she had even during emergency situations. Seema opened up slowly and said, it was all because of her relatives. Her uncles and aunts deterred her when she was thin, and never paid attention to her looks, even to her existence when it comes to looks, she was teased badly by her relatives for her incisor teeth while growing up. She developed the conscious that she lacked self-confidence in her looks and that she couldn't face society with such looks. She groomed herself so well yet the pain stagnated for long killing her guts to face society. She felt insecure in the presence of her cousins and people who were extremely fairer than her. Her elder sister felt helpless and bad about the trauma Seema had undergone in her childhood days. She realized that judging people based on their looks and body deter the children forever and would kill their self-confidence completely. Her elder sister took a vow that someday she would make Seema realize that she was beautiful in her natural looks and no one's judgment could beat her confidence.
