An Accidental Meeting
“I hate it when I can't find my purse…ugh..,” Ritu’s hands were running through her bag.
“Girl, You are holding up the queue!!” cashier was angry at her for holding the line at his shop.
She looked back only to find a guy standing behind her. “But there is only one..”
“Even if there is only one or none, a queue is a queue!” The cashier was infuriated.
“I thought a queue was not a queue. Thanks for the info. Shall I write it down as it might be asked in tomorrow's quiz?” she laughed.
“Pay me now or get lost!” The cashier's anger limit got busted by Ritu's joke.
“I must have lost the purse.”
“Tell me the details. I will call you if I find it,” The cashier asked.
“I purchased the purse from here, yesterday. It's a common black one. There was ₹500 in it,” she told him the details.
“If my father came to know about it..” she was terrified.
“Hey, is this your purse?”
Ritu turned back to find a man holding her purse.
“Oh my god, thank you so much.”
“My pleasure,” he smiled.
“Here is the money and keep the change,” he said to the cashier and walked away with a smirk.
Her phone rang.
“Ritu, you forgot your purse here,” her mom said.
Astounded, she ran out of the shop to find the guy, she called him loudly, “hey, it's not mine.”
“It’s a new one. Keep it,” he waved at her with a wink!
