A Tribute to My Friend’s Wife

My friend and her wife living in a city since a long time. Due to Pandemic, their twin sons from a distance town came to stay few days with them. Due to their advanced age, they put a Lady cook for their daily cooking. Even though in Carona Pandemic, they continued the services of cook. They are following all the needed precautions such as masking, maintaining social distance, washing hands etc., On two or three occasions, they got needed tests done for Corona, and it’s negative. Almost all at the ending of the pandemic, all of them again got tested, and all family members got Corona negative except my friend’s wife who got Corona positive. They surprised, and with suspicion they asked their cook also to go and got tested Carona. She got tested and it’s positive. So, they concluded that due to close movement of my friend’s wife with cook, she got positive report. They immediately asked the cook not to come for cooking. Family members tried to admit my friend’s wife in a hospital. But she couldn’t get admission due to non-availability of Beds in any of the Hospitals. After a day or two, she got admitted in a Corporate Hospital very far away from their residence. Night and days, attempts made by the expertise doctors could not get her life back. The family members sadness is un-forgettable in their life.
