At times like this I want to die...I am a mess which is created by the god. I have a different path I guess. To fulfill my parents' wishes basically Demands, and for this I have to sacrifice everything to reach their expectations…

I am Mei, a 15 years old teenage girl. Born in the north-eastern part of Asia. Belonging to a Middle class society. Being the oldest of my siblings, it is quite a mess. I have always felt like I have been trapped in a cage surrounded by life-thirsty creatures called Humans. A normal girl with a horrific life. This all started when my little brother was born. At the tender age of life I started being mistreated and questioned by society. I know that my place is left in a dark corner of this world. I didn't have any friends. Until that summer morning, I found her, the savior of my life. Dark brown eyes with an astonishing talent and a heart-warming smile. At the very first moment I saw her; I didn't realize that she was Rei. One of the best writers in our school. She was so popular and talented. One day it started raining heavily and I forgot to bring my umbrella, but then a soft voice came from my back "I don't mind sharing my umbrella with you". It was her Rei. After that we got along well. But it was not good at home.

Being abused mentally is a crime. I didn't care what others say but when you're close one says something is embarrassing. Being forced to do what other people say and being bullied because of your looks and style. Life was a torture for me. At the very end I tried multiple times to suicide but she held me back. Rei was the one whom I trusted most. At home everyone pampered and spoiled my little brother. But everyone saw me as a property and a Business toy. I was broken down from both mentally and physically. The whole world had been upside down for me. I was sick of myself and wanted to escape from this living hell. After we graduated I was determined that I won't let anyone control my life and here I am living a happy life with no one and doing better and better everyday. I was happy in my life for the first time. I didn't need anyone but I missed Rei, my guiding star. If she wasn't in my life I would be living in hell. I didn't tell her about my feelings though. But I wish, in the upcoming future I hope we stay together forever.
