You Walked into my Life

When I was down and low, and feeling all alone,

You walked into my life, and held my hand so tight

You lifted my spirits high and made me smile.

Daily when I used to be sad,

You smile lit up my face,

Your voice made my spirits high,

You walked into my life, when things were just not right.

No selfish thoughts, no personal gains,

Pure as you were, and a true friend.

Today we are far away

And however much I will miss you

You may never say or show, but for sure, I do know

You miss me more, but do not want to show.

I love you as a person, I love you as a friend.

I love you more than words can say,

But SAD, I cannot let you know

You are smart, you are crazy

And you are fun.

God knows why you came into my life,

Other than just to be a FRIEND FOR LIFE.
