The time we got hitched

Like every couple

We dreamt of fulfilling

A whole lot of things

Marriage got us the responsibility

And no reasons to ignore

With parents and family around

We were good to be bound

Times of happiness

And moments of sadness

Made us stand for each other

Holding hand-in-hand

With you being my support

Trust and confidence built in us

Circumstances led us to impatience

Yet it brought courage in us

I don't say we are perfect

I just say we are those Two

Overlooking each other's imperfections

Wading through various perceptions

I now look back at our life

And quite understand

It was never a cakewalk

To stand here today

Life has got us now, under the sun

With us in an ocean-

An ocean of options

And we sailing to find a shore together

A shore, a destination

To start a new life, a new beginning

It's time for us to step forward

And stop ourselves to look back

As we stand here today

Looking for His divine guidance

I wish to make every decision right

With Almighty's ultimate acceptance
