Worldly Games
Worldly Games
A tomb stone that reads my name,
Adjacent to it from where I came
Daughter of whom on the stone engraved,
All the details nicely saved.
My worldly treasures are not arranged,
My house, my car, that's very strange?
My watch, my jewels where they belong,
Won't all of that be put along?
My robes of Muslin and Satin And Silk,
My bath of honey and Oats and Milk.
Wrapped in a plain white core cotton cloth,
Leaving my silk robes behind to Rot.
I left to fate my relations and friends,
The hearts broken are yet to mend.
I laughed at people who cared for me,
Forgetting the past they now carry me.
With flowers and tears they rest me down,
"Please don't leave me, there's no one around"
I don't want jewels and money and wealth,
I just need relations and bless me good health.
"Too late for that" GOD mocked at me,
When you had the time, you disowned me.
You made your money and you built your name,
But in this place, we all the same.
The rich, the poor, the young and old,
Nobodies graves are encrusted with Gold.
You wasted your time and wasted it all,
Why wait another day to stop the fall?
From dust you came and to it you return,
One by one it would be everyone's turn.
