Tragedy Children

Wolf's mark

Wolf's mark

It was a calm and silent night,

Upon the pond, was the moon shining bright,

When a shiver went down my spine,

Then came the lone wolf to drown his sorrows just like last time.

His once beautiful amber eyes with specks of gold, now broken and lost

As though trying to find glorious memories from his past.

His howls echoed throughout the normally quiet night,

Filling the air with his despair, loneliness, and fright.

Soon he shifted his gaze to me,

For a second I thought to flee

But then I realized how alike we were,

Alone in the night and our homes so far.
