Wish upon a star
Wish upon a star
She moulded a sculpture of indifference,
To armour against the world forbidding.
The foundation laid lacked any preference,
For she considered love as beguiling.
Many layers of indifference were coated,
To galvanize the vulnerable heart.
Till a day came, when he crept undetected,
To face the feelings hidden from the start.
A dart pricked the heart much to her surprise,
Liberating her spirit locked so far.
Love is all fortifying she could realise,
While wishing for him upon a star.
The fancies extant in fairy tales, Eventually found a form she could tell.
