While Shooting For The Moon

“Shoot for the moon,

Even if you miss it, you’ll land

Among the stars”

Moon; an object of fascination 

For me, no doubt

Opened up the arena of imagination

As I gazed at the night sky

While peeping through my window

And reflecting upon many Whys

Sometimes shooting stars and other times

Fireflies always made me amazed 

I remember to have crafted many paper-planes

And aimed it towards the moon

With the hope of reaching there one day

Stars were many but I aimed for the one

While aiming for the moon, my paper plane

Seemed to hit a random one(star)

Then continued a series of

Misses and hits, among many stars

It was the only thing that lit

So brightly so I continued hitting

It with my paper-plane.
