When Our Hearts Become One

An avalanche of emotions pluck over me 

Realizing you are here with me

 Giddy-like sensations arise 

Since my heart becomes yours 

Your smile is like a burst of sunlight

 Piercing through a raincloud

 That even I am in the maelstrom whirling 

You still shine in the buoyancy of my draining blood 

Whenever I see you from afar 

Butterflies flap around my stomach 

While holding my heart in a glee 

It feels as though the knot in my chest is unraveling 

Freeing me from shuddering fears

 Day by day, you've shown me your love

 Love that is so expansive and vast

Each passing day, you've proven your decree 

"Nothing to worry, we'll be fine one day", you said. 

Now, my mind is racing dramatically 

For I cannot hold on to one thought 

Hence, the moment our hearts become one

I am seeing things differently in love
